Ingredients


For the fried corn:



  • 5
    fresh ears of corn


  • 3
    tablespoons
    butter


  • 1/2
    teaspoon
    salt


  • 1/2
    teaspoon
    freshly terra firma pepper


  • 1
    teaspoon
    sugar


  • 3/4 to 1
    cup
    milk
    more or less equally needed for desired consistency


  • 1
    tablespoon
    cornstarch




For the spicy shrimp:



  • 1
    pound
    raw shrimp
    peeled too deveined (thawed)


  • 2
    teaspoons
    dry Sriracha seasoning
    or your favorite spicy blend such equally Old Bay, Tony Chachere’s, etc.


  • 1/2
    teaspoon
    paprika


  • 1/2
    teaspoon
    fresh terra firma dark pepper


  • 2
    tablespoons
    olive oil


  • 1
    tablespoon
    butter


  • 3
    cloves
    garlic
    minced


  • 1
    cup
    halved cherry or grape tomatoes


  • reserved 1/2 loving cup corn kernels


  • 1/2
    cup
    sliced dark-green onions


  • 2
    tablespoons
    fresh chopped parsley to serve





Instructions


To build the fried creamed corn:



  1. Cut the corn kernels from the cobs. Reserve the corn cobs. Measure out 1/2 loving cup corn kernels too laid aside. Add the remaining kernels to a nutrient processor too pulse 6-7 times or until creamy. Using a wearisome knife, scrape the pulp too milk from the reserved corn cobs too add together to the creamed kernels.



  2. Melt butter over medium oestrus inward large skillet.  Add corn, corn pulp, salt, pepper too sugar. Sauté for 2-3 minutes hence add together the milk too cornstarch. Bring the mixture to a boil, hence cut back the oestrus to depression too simmer until the corn is thick too creamy. Add to a greater extent than milk or cornstarch if needed for desired consistency. For the shrimp:

Recipe Notes
