“BLT” Salmon Burgers with Bacon + Spicy Tomato Jam + Avocado Cream

Holy flavor. These burgers are definitely i of my favorite things I’ve made for the blog in awhile. And the love apple jam…I could position that stuff on everything. This combo of flavors is then freaking skilful. The burgers are super simple in addition to flavorful, just the homemade condiments really MAKE this sandwich. So does the bacon..just I figured that was a given.

So first this love apple jam. INSANELY GOOD. There’second sweet, a trivial spice from the cherry pepper flakes, too I merely tin can’t go enough of it. You’ll run across.

This avocado cream adds a bright chemical element to this sandwich as well as is a corking spread to role on wraps, toast, more sandwiches, and anything y'all desire to pose it on. No judgement here.

Ingredients





  • For the burgers:


  • one
    lb.
    salmon filet, cut into chunks


  • ane
    shallot, minced


  • one
    tsp.
    garlic pulverization


  • ii

    dijon mustard


  • pinch
    of crimson pepper flakes


  • one/two
    c.
    panko breadcrumbs


  • one
    big egg


  • ane/iv

  • buns of your choice


  • butter lettuce

    bacon, fried


  • For the jam:


  • 2

    olive crude


  • v
    roma tomatoes, diced (or vine ripe plant, whatever looks good at the store)

    granulated carbohydrate

    brownish sugar

    apple tree cider vinegar


  • 1/4

    reddish pepper flakes

    table salt

    of dried ginger

    of earth cloves


  • For the avocado cream:


  • ane
    avocado


  • 1/ii

    evidently Greek yogurt


  • squelch of lemon


  • pinch
    of cayenne

Instructions





  1. Begin past making the jam. Combine all jam ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a boil, so bring down to medium/low together with make, stirring occasionally for 35-40 minutes until thick as well as jam-like.



  2. In the meantime, brand the avocado cream. Combine avocado, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, cayenne, table salt as well as pepper inward a food processor. Pulse until smooth and creamy. Taste to flavour too fix aside.
