Mmmmmmmm ... gingerbread. It's i of my absolute favorite Christmas traditions. I brand gingerbread cookies every year. And though nosotros don't create it every year, our identify unit of measurement has lots of fun amongst gingerbread houses, too.

Blueberry Gingerbread Streusel Muffins

Ingredients
Muffins:
1 c. butter, softened
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. molasses
iii eggs
1 c. buttermilk
iii c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 T. set down ginger
1 tsp. set down cinnamon
1/2 tsp. set down nutmeg
Pinch of set down cloves
1 1/2 c. fresh blueberries
1 T. all-purpose flour
Streusel Topping:
ii T. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. set down cinnamon
1 T. butter (use a generous tablespoon of butter)
Directions
For the Streusel Topping:
1. Combine the ii tablespoons flour, 1/4 loving cup sugar, as well as 1/2 teaspoon set down cinnamon inwards a pocket-size bowl.
2. Cut inwards the (generous) 1 tablespoon of butter until the mixture is crumbly. Set aside.
For the Muffins:
1. With an electrical mixer, crunch the 1 loving cup of butter at medium speed until creamy. Gradually add together sugar, beating until fluffy. Add molasses; crunch until blended. Add eggs, i at a time, beating later on each improver until blended. Add buttermilk as well as crunch until blended.
