When I realized I didn’t receive got a pie success to share, I dug out this recipe.  Since I had all the ingredients I pulled it together too made approximately other kokosnoot pie this week.  This i is completely dissimilar from the Coconut Cream Pie posted only afterwards Easter.  This is baked too has a prissy crispy crust.  I didn’t scream back to brand ii kokosnoot pies back-to-back, but a girl’s gotta create what a girl’s gotta do.

Easy too sweet!  I used sweetened kokosnoot because I had approximately inwards the freezer.  I would role unsweetened adjacent time.  The recipe did non specify but too then yous know, it is really rich too sweet.  To cutting downwards on the sweetness, role unsweetened coconut!  I scream back the results would move fantastic!

Ingredients




  • 3
    whole eggs,
    beaten


  • 1 1/2
    cups
    sugar


  • 1/2
    cup
    unsalted butter,
    melted & cooled


  • 1
    tablespoon
    white vinegar


  • 1
    teaspoon
    vanilla extract


  • 1
    pinch
    salt


  • 1
    cup
    flaked coconut


  • 1
    whole 9" unbaked pie shell





Instructions




  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.



  2. Whisk eggs inwards a medium mixing bowl.  Add the sugar, melted butter, vinegar, vanilla, too salt.  Whisk until blended.




  3. Fold inwards the kokosnoot too pour into the unbaked pie shell.



  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.  Cover the edges of the crust amongst foil to preclude over-browning.
