Fig Honey Ricotta Mascarpone Dip with Crispy Prosciutto

Ingredients





  • one
    ounce
    prosciutto


  • i
    (15 ounce) container whole milk ricotta*


  • viii
    ounces
    mascarpone cheese, softened to room temperature

    fig preserves

    chopped fresh rosemary, plus extra for topping

    nutmeg

    garlic powder

  • freshly cracked dark pepper

    ounces
    freshly grated fontina


  • chopped fresh figs for serving


  • crostini, crackers, sliced baguette, or chips for serving





Instructions





  1. Grease a 8x10 baking dish (or something or so that) with softened butter or cooking spray. Set aside.




  2. Make the crispy prosciutto. Preheat oven to 375℉. Place slices of prosciutto on a foil lined baking sail in addition to bake for 7-8 minutes or until crispy. (Be careful, it tin fire quickly since it's then sparse!) Let cool in addition to and then chop or crumble into modest pieces.




  3. For the dip, combine the ricotta, mascarpone, fig preserves, love, rosemary, nutmeg, garlic pulverization, salt, as well as a few cracks of freshly earth dark pepper in medium bowl until combined. Add one-half of the fontina too mix to combine.




  4. Spread dip into the prepared pan too sprinkle evenly with the other half of grated fontina. Bake for thirty minutes or until gilt together with bubbly. Recipe Notes


*Don't role function skim ricotta for this recipe - it contains also much wet together with will make the dip besides watery. Whole milk ricotta is the way to get!
